Ingredients
2 large russet potatoes, peeled and shredded
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 2 tablespoons shredded onion, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, pinch of paprika, chopped fresh herbs
Instructions
- Peel and shred potatoes. Soak them in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and dry thoroughly using a kitchen towel or paper towels.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional add-ins.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread potatoes in an even layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
