Description
Golden, flaky Apple Caramel Bombs filled with spiced apple chunks and optionally creamy centers, rolled in buttery graham crumbs and finished with a glossy caramel drizzle. A cozy, comforting dessert that’s surprisingly simple to make and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1 cup thick caramel sauce
4 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Peel, core, and dice apples into small cubes. Toss with cinnamon and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.
2. Flatten each biscuit into a circle large enough to wrap around filling.
3. Add apple mixture (and cream cheese if using) to the center of each dough piece. Pinch to seal, and roll into a smooth ball.
4. Brush each ball with melted butter, then coat with crushed graham crackers.
5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes until golden. Or air fry at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
7. Drizzle generously with warm caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
Be sure to tightly seal the dough to prevent leaking during baking.
Use cold cream cheese for easier filling placement.
You can substitute crushed cookies for graham crumbs for a fun twist.
