Description
This Apple Chai Latte blends cozy chai spices with sweet apple cider, creamy milk, and warm vanilla. Topped with whipped cream, apple slices, and cinnamon, it’s the ultimate fall drink to warm your hands and heart.
Ingredients
1/2 cup chai tea (strongly brewed or concentrate)
1/2 cup apple cider (unfiltered recommended)
1/2 cup milk (whole, almond, oat, or soy)
1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
whipped cream (for topping)
apple slices (thinly sliced, for garnish)
cinnamon (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Brew chai tea if using tea bags or loose leaf. Steep in hot water for 5–7 minutes to develop strong flavor.
2. In a small saucepan, heat the apple cider and milk over medium heat until steaming. Do not boil. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract if using.
3. Pour the brewed chai into a mug halfway. Top with the warm apple cider-milk mixture and gently stir to combine.
4. Froth the milk mixture before pouring if desired, using a frother, whisk, or blender.
5. Top with whipped cream, a few apple slices, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use unfiltered apple cider for a deeper apple flavor that blends better with the spices.
Frothing the milk adds a café-style finish, but it’s optional. A hand whisk or blender does the trick.
Adjust sweetness by increasing or omitting the maple syrup depending on your cider and chai base.
