These Bang Bang Chicken Sliders bring together crispy fried chicken, creamy spicy-sweet bang bang sauce, and buttery slider buns for a crowd-pleasing, flavor-packed appetizer. Ideal for parties, game days, or quick dinners.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into cutlets)
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 large eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
8 slider buns (brioche or Hawaiian)
1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
Bang Bang Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1–2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Slice chicken into even cutlets and marinate in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Set up 3 bowls: flour + cornstarch + spices, beaten eggs, and panko.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat in panko.
- Fry in 350°F oil for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked.
- Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- Lightly toast buns. Add lettuce, chicken, and drizzle with sauce. Top with bun and serve.
