Description
This Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a rich, creamy pasta dish made with tender ground beef, spiral rotini pasta, and a garlic-infused Parmesan cream sauce. It’s quick, easy, and perfect for weeknight dinners that feel extra comforting.
Ingredients
12 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in beef broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add cooked rotini and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce—it melts better than pre-shredded.
Add a splash of broth or cream when reheating to keep it creamy.
For extra flavor, cook the beef with a pinch of Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes.
