Perfect as an appetizer, main dish, or meal prep idea—this easy recipe fits into low-carb, keto, and high-protein lifestyles. Great for anyone needing quick dinner ideas or healthy food inspiration that doesn’t sacrifice taste.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 pound ground turkey

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

0.25 cup green onions, chopped

0.25 cup red bell pepper, diced

0.25 cup water chestnuts, chopped

3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)

Lettuce leaves (butter, romaine, or iceberg)

Green onions or cilantro, chopped

Chopped peanuts or sesame seeds (optional)

Lime wedges

Instructions

1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

2. Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook for 6–8 minutes until browned and cooked through.

3. Stir in green onions, red bell pepper, and water chestnuts. Cook for 2–3 minutes.

4. Add soy sauce, hoisin, rice vinegar, and sriracha. Stir to coat and simmer 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens.

5. Spoon filling into lettuce leaves. Garnish with toppings and a squeeze of lime. Serve warm.

Notes

Make sure to drain any excess liquid from the skillet before serving for less soggy wraps.

If you’re prepping ahead, store the filling and lettuce separately.
