Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup Frank’s RedHot sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
1. Add the unsalted butter to a small saucepan and melt it over low heat. Avoid browning the butter.
2. Once melted, pour in the hot sauce and stir until fully combined.
3. Add Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, garlic powder, and paprika. Whisk well to create a smooth sauce.
4. Simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Taste and add salt if needed.
6. Use immediately or store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week. Reheat gently before serving.
Notes
For a milder sauce, add more butter or choose a gentler hot sauce like Crystal.
To avoid separation, do not allow the sauce to boil—keep it at a gentle simmer.
This sauce thickens slightly as it cools and intensifies in flavor after refrigeration.
