Description

This Best Ever Cookies and Cream Puppy Chow is a no-bake treat that’s rich, crunchy, and packed with classic cookies and cream flavor. With Chex cereal coated in creamy white chocolate, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, and powdered sugar, it’s a fast and fun snack perfect for parties or gifting.

Ingredients

6 cups Rice Chex cereal

1 ½ cups white chocolate chips or candy melts

12 chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed

1 ½ cups powdered sugar

1 cup mini chocolate-covered pretzels (optional)

Instructions

1. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and rolling with a rolling pin.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Avoid overheating.

3. Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal and gently stir to coat.

4. Sprinkle the crushed cookies over the coated cereal and fold gently until distributed.

5. Transfer the mixture to a large zip-top bag or container with a lid. Add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until evenly coated.

6. Add mini chocolate-covered pretzels (if using) and stir gently. Allow mix to cool completely before storing.

Notes

Let the mixture cool fully before storing to maintain crisp texture.

You can swap in flavored Oreos for a fun twist—mint, golden, or even birthday cake flavors work well.

Use candy melts for a smoother coating if your white chocolate tends to seize.
