Ingredients

4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cottage cheese

1 can cream of chicken soup, 10.5 ounces

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 sleeve buttery crackers, crushed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.

3. Stir in the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and parsley.

4. Fold in the cooked chicken until evenly coated.

5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

6. In a small bowl, combine the crushed buttery crackers, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese.

7. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole.

8. Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a golden top.

9. Let the casserole rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time and add extra flavor.

Let the cream cheese soften fully so the filling mixes up smooth and creamy.

For the crispiest topping, add the cracker mixture right before baking.
