Ingredients
12 oz egg noodles
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth (low sodium recommended)
1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth until smooth.
- Reduce heat to low and mix in sour cream until fully incorporated. Do not boil.
- Return noodles to the pot and stir to coat with the sauce. Heat through for 2–3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley if desired.
