Description

This Cajun Beef Linguine in Creamy Velveeta Parmesan Garlic Sauce is a rich, flavor-packed dish that combines seasoned Cajun ground beef with tender linguine, all smothered in a velvety cheese sauce made from Velveeta, Parmesan, and garlic. It’s bold, creamy, and comforting—perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy weekends.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

12 ounces linguine pasta

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

1/2 cup reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with Cajun seasoning. Break apart and cook until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.

3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and stir in the minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Velveeta cubes and Parmesan cheese. Let melt slowly, stirring constantly until smooth.

5. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce to your preferred consistency.

6. Return the cooked linguine and browned beef to the skillet. Toss everything together until evenly coated. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.

7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Always reserve pasta water—it helps the sauce cling to the noodles.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt and flavor.

If you want extra heat, add crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
