A bold and indulgent dinner dish combining tender Cajun-spiced steak bites with creamy, cheesy rigatoni tossed in a rich Parmesan sauce. Perfect for cozy nights or impressing guests.
Ingredients
1 lb sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak, cut into cubes
12 oz rigatoni pasta
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season steak cubes generously with Cajun seasoning.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and sear steak until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
- Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water.
- In the same skillet, melt more butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir in Parmesan, and whisk until smooth. Add a pinch of Cajun seasoning and a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
- Toss cooked rigatoni into the sauce until fully coated.
- Plate rigatoni with Cajun steak on the side or top. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
