Description
A creamy, comforting pasta dish made with bowtie pasta smothered in a garlic cream sauce, topped with Cajun-spiced ground beef and finished with melted cheese and herbs.
Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add Cajun seasoning and a splash of water to the beef. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
4. In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and melted.
6. Toss the cooked pasta into the cream sauce and mix until evenly coated.
7. Serve the pasta on plates and spoon the seasoned beef mixture on top.
8. Garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and more cheese if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and melt.
Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream to keep the sauce silky.
