Description
This creamy, cheesy, and spicy pasta dish combines twisted rotini pasta with Cajun-seasoned ground beef, a rich Alfredo Velveeta sauce, and bold garlic flavors. It’s a perfect comfort meal that’s easy to prepare and guaranteed to impress.
Ingredients
12 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup Alfredo sauce
8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the rotini until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for 1–2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
4. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the beef and stir to evenly coat.
5. Lower the heat and stir in Alfredo sauce and Velveeta cubes. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss until well coated.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and Parmesan if desired.
Notes
If you want a milder flavor, use half the Cajun seasoning and add more to taste after cooking.
For an extra-cheesy version, stir in a handful of shredded mozzarella before serving.
To reheat, add a splash of milk or cream to revive the sauce and prevent it from drying out.
