Description

This Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is the ultimate mash-up of two classic desserts—rich, gooey chocolate chip cookie meets buttery pie crust. Perfect for holidays, bake sales, or cozy nights in, this pie is easy to make and even easier to love. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect finish.


Ingredients

1 deep dish pie crust

¾ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon salt

¾ cup all-purpose flour

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If using a frozen pie crust, let it thaw slightly.

2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugar until smooth.

3. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk again until fully combined and slightly frothy.

4. Stir in flour and salt until just incorporated. Do not overmix.

5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.

6. Pour the batter into the pie crust and smooth out the top.

7. Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top.

8. Bake for 50–60 minutes, until the top is golden and center is set.

9. Let cool for 20–30 minutes before slicing.

10. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Don’t overbake—center should be soft and slightly gooey.

Toast your nuts before adding for extra flavor.

Add a mix of dark and milk chocolate chips for more depth.
