Description

Soft, buttery, and coated in a snowy layer of powdered sugar, Condensed Milk Snow Cookies are a delightful treat perfect for the holiday season or any time you crave something sweet and delicate. These melt-in-your-mouth cookies are easy to make with just a few simple ingredients, making them an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced bakers. Their light, creamy texture and gentle vanilla flavor make them a cozy companion to coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup powdered sugar (plus extra for dusting)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gradually sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, stirring gently until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and slightly flatten them with your fingers or a fork.
  6. Place the cookies on the baking sheet, leaving some space between each.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The cookies should remain pale for a soft texture.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes, then generously dust them with powdered sugar while still warm.
  9. Once completely cooled, dust again for an extra snowy effect.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
