Ingredients

4 large eggs

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 cups whole milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Freshly grated nutmeg (for topping)

1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust by fitting it into a 9-inch pie dish and blind baking until lightly golden. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pre-baked crust.
  5. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
