Description

Creamy Chicken Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a cozy, restaurant-style dinner you can whip up at home in under an hour. Juicy seared chicken pieces, tender fettuccine, and a velvety garlic parmesan sauce come together in one crave-worthy bite. It’s rich, comforting, and perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts or thighs, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter (plus more as needed)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Pour in heavy cream, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let simmer for 3–4 minutes.

4. Stir in Parmesan cheese slowly, whisking constantly until melted and smooth. Adjust thickness with a splash of cream or reserved pasta water if needed.

5. In a separate pot, cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.

6. Add cooked fettuccine and chicken back into the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Add pasta water gradually if needed to loosen the sauce.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with extra Parmesan.

Notes

Always grate Parmesan fresh from the block for best texture and melting.

For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine after sautéing the garlic.

If using pre-cooked chicken, add it only at the end to avoid overcooking.
