Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Bowl with Herb Rice is a quick, restaurant-worthy dish perfect for weeknights. Juicy shrimp are seared and coated in a rich garlic butter cream sauce, served over fluffy herb-infused rice. Comforting, flavorful, and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)

1 tablespoon melted butter (for rice)

2 tablespoons chopped herbs (parsley, dill, or chives)

salt, to taste

black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

5. Return shrimp to the skillet. Add lemon juice and chopped parsley. Warm through for 1 minute.

6. In a separate bowl, mix cooked rice with melted butter and chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Assemble bowls with herb rice on the bottom and creamy garlic butter shrimp on top. Garnish with extra herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use large or jumbo shrimp and avoid overcrowding the pan during searing.

Always pat shrimp dry before cooking to ensure a golden crust.

Add a splash of cream or water when reheating leftovers to restore sauce consistency.
