Description

This Creamy Garlic Marry Me Salmon is an indulgent dinner favorite featuring perfectly pan-seared salmon smothered in a garlic parmesan cream sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and herbs. Elegant yet simple, it’s the perfect recipe for both date night and busy weeknights.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (skin-on, about 6 oz each)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 small shallot, finely chopped

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sear the Salmon: Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter. Sauté garlic and shallots for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add Tomatoes and Spices: Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Create Sauce Base: Add heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
  5. Incorporate Cheese: Stir in Parmesan and reduce heat. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine: Return salmon to skillet. Simmer 2-3 minutes while spooning sauce over fillets.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
