1 lb (450g) cheese tortellini
1 lb (450g) Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan (extra for topping)
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Add the broccoli florets during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
