Salted Caramel Fudge Truffles are bite-sized indulgent treats featuring a rich, creamy caramel fudge center dipped in smooth chocolate and topped with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. They’re no-bake, easy to make, and perfect for gifting, holidays, or simply treating yourself to a little luxury.
Ingredients
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup caramel sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 ounces melting chocolate or couverture chocolate (for coating)
Flaky sea salt (for topping)
2 tablespoons caramel sauce (optional for drizzle)
Instructions
1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, caramel sauce, butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and melted.
2. Remove from heat and add semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until fully melted and incorporated. The mixture will thicken.
3. Transfer the fudge to a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until firm.
4. Scoop and roll into small balls. Place on a lined tray and chill again for 15 minutes.
5. Melt the melting chocolate or couverture chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place on parchment paper.
7. Immediately sprinkle sea salt on top. Drizzle extra caramel over the truffles if desired.
8. Let the chocolate set completely before serving or storing.
Notes
For a smooth chocolate shell, let the melted chocolate cool just slightly before dipping to avoid cracking.
If the fudge is too sticky to roll, lightly grease your hands or dust them with cocoa powder.
To freeze, layer truffles between parchment and store in a sealed container up to 2 months.
