Description

Golden, fluffy, and packed with melty cheese, this Easy Cheesy Biscuit Loaf is the ultimate comfort bake. It’s simple, no yeast, and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or alongside soup — delivering cheesy joy in every slice.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

1 cup milk

1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a standard loaf pan.

2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Cut in cold butter until crumbly, with small pea-sized bits.

4. Stir in milk and cheddar; mix just until combined.

5. Spoon dough into the prepared pan; smooth the top. Optionally sprinkle extra cheese or Parmesan on top.

6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra cheesiness, layer more cheese in the middle or top before baking.

Avoid overmixing the dough to keep it light and fluffy.

Herbs like chives, thyme, or rosemary add a lovely savory twist.
