Description

Fresh, vibrant, and packed with tropical flavor, this Easy Grilled Salmon with Mango Salsa is a summertime favorite. The salmon is seasoned with smoky spices and grilled to perfection, then topped with a sweet and tangy mango salsa that bursts with color. Perfect for weeknight meals or special occasions, it’s healthy, fast, and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin-on

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 ripe mangos, diced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

1. Peel and dice the mango into small chunks. Finely chop the red onion and cilantro. Combine in a bowl with lime juice and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

2. Pat salmon fillets dry. Drizzle olive oil on both sides. Rub with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Preheat grill to medium-high and oil the grates.

4. Place salmon skin-side down. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center.

5. Transfer salmon to plates. Spoon mango salsa on top. Serve immediately with lime wedges if desired.

Notes

Let the mango salsa sit for at least 10 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.

For best grilling results, don’t move the salmon too early—wait for a natural release from the grill.

If using frozen mango, fully thaw and drain to avoid watery salsa.
