Ingredients

Carrots (baby or uniformly chopped whole)

Honey

Butter

Brown sugar

Cinnamon (optional)

Salt and pepper

Fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Place carrots in a saucepan with 1/4 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Cover and steam for 6–8 minutes until just fork-tender.
  2. Drain excess water. In the same pan, melt butter with honey and brown sugar over medium-low heat. Stir until smooth. Add cinnamon if using.
  3. Return carrots to the pan. Toss in the glaze for 3–5 minutes, stirring until glossy and well coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
