Description

This Easy Weeknight Tater Tot Casserole is the ultimate comfort dish, perfect for busy evenings. With layers of savory ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, colorful veggies, gooey cheddar cheese, and a crispy crown of golden tater tots, it’s a hearty one-dish meal that everyone loves.


Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 to cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 bag (about 32 oz) frozen tater tots

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper and drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and frozen vegetables. Mix well.
  4. Transfer mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Optional: Add extra cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
