Description

Festive Eggnog Panna Cotta is your new go-to for a cozy, no-bake winter dessert. Silky smooth and full of holiday flavor, this elegant treat combines the richness of heavy cream with the nostalgic warmth of spiced eggnog. It’s the perfect sweet finish to any festive dinner or a stand-alone indulgence when you want something both easy and impressive. Great for make-ahead entertaining, and ideal if you’re on the lookout for quick breakfast options, healthy snack ideas, or easy dessert recipes to impress your guests.

Ingredients

2 cups eggnog (full-fat, store-bought or homemade)

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (plus more for garnish)

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) unflavored gelatin

3 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

1. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let bloom for 5–10 minutes.

2. In a saucepan, combine eggnog, cream, sugar, and nutmeg. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is warm—do not boil.

3. Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add vanilla extract and mix well.

4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve for smoothness, then pour into jars or ramekins.

5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.

6. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg or whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk and dairy-free eggnog.

Don’t let the eggnog mixture boil—just warm enough to dissolve sugar and gelatin.

Serve in clear jars for a pretty presentation and easy storage.
