These Fudgy Brownie Cheesecake Bars are a decadent fusion of rich, fudgy chocolate brownies and creamy cheesecake swirls. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or indulgent dessert cravings, they’re easy to bake and hard to resist. With their layered texture and deep cocoa flavor, they’re a dreamy addition to your favorite dessert ideas. Whether you’re looking for a quick dessert, easy recipe, or crowd-pleasing food ideas, this one’s a keeper!

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Crushed mini chocolate cookies or Oreo crumbs

Extra chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until light and frothy.

3. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold in chocolate chips if using. Spread 2/3 of the batter into the pan.

4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in egg and vanilla.

5. Pour cheesecake layer over brownie batter. Dollop remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently.

6. Sprinkle with cookie crumbs or chocolate chips if desired.

7. Bake for 35–38 minutes, until center is just set. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For cleaner slices, chill the bars for 1 hour before cutting.

Don’t over-swirl the top—less is more for that gorgeous marbled look.

Let bars cool fully in the pan to set the layers before slicing.
