Description

These Garden Fresh Chicken Burgers combine crispy, pan-seared chicken with a medley of garden vegetables for a burger that’s both satisfying and refreshing. Toasted brioche buns, tangy mustard, and a zesty relish make each bite a delight. Perfect for weeknight dinners or backyard get-togethers.


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

1 cup flour or breadcrumbs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp oil (for frying)

4 brioche buns

4 lettuce leaves

4 slices tomato

4 tbsp pickled relish (or chopped cucumber, onion, and corn)

4 slices red onion

4 tsp mustard or sauce of choice


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry. Mix flour/breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken pieces in the seasoned mix.
  3. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Remove and let rest on a paper towel.
  5. Toast brioche buns with a little butter, cut-side down in the skillet.
  6. Assemble: Start with lettuce on the bottom bun, then chicken, tomato, red onion, relish, mustard, and top bun.
  7. Serve immediately while hot.
