These Garden Fresh Chicken Burgers combine crispy, pan-seared chicken with a medley of garden vegetables for a burger that’s both satisfying and refreshing. Toasted brioche buns, tangy mustard, and a zesty relish make each bite a delight. Perfect for weeknight dinners or backyard get-togethers.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
1 cup flour or breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp oil (for frying)
4 brioche buns
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices tomato
4 tbsp pickled relish (or chopped cucumber, onion, and corn)
4 slices red onion
4 tsp mustard or sauce of choice
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry. Mix flour/breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken pieces in the seasoned mix.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove and let rest on a paper towel.
- Toast brioche buns with a little butter, cut-side down in the skillet.
- Assemble: Start with lettuce on the bottom bun, then chicken, tomato, red onion, relish, mustard, and top bun.
- Serve immediately while hot.
