Description

Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups are a savory, bite-sized twist on a classic cheeseburger. Juicy ground beef and sweet onion are wrapped in crescent roll dough with melted cheddar, then brushed with rich garlic butter for a golden, irresistible finish. Perfect for game days, family dinners, or any time you need a cozy, crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 small yellow onion, diced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 can crescent roll dough (or pizza dough)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat.

2. Season the beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce if desired.

3. Unroll the crescent roll or pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Press seams together if using crescent rolls.

4. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

5. Roll the dough into a log from the short edge. Slice into 1 to 1.5-inch thick rounds.

6. Place slices on a greased muffin tin or parchment-lined baking sheet.

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.

8. Mix melted butter with a bit of garlic powder and brush on top of rollups after baking.

9. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if using, and serve warm.

Notes

Use lean ground beef to prevent sogginess from excess grease.

Chilling the roll log for 10 minutes before slicing helps keep the shape.

To make it spicy, add chopped jalapeños or a dash of cayenne into the beef mixture.
