Description

A hearty, comforting skillet pasta dish loaded with garlicky butter sauce, tender cheese tortellini, seared Italian sausage, ground beef, fresh spinach, and a creamy parmesan finish. Perfect for busy nights when you want big flavor in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 pound Italian sausage

12 ounces cheese tortellini

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

2 cups fresh spinach

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Pour in the heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and stir in parmesan until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

4. Stir in cooked tortellini and let simmer in the sauce for 3–4 minutes.

5. Add the spinach and cooked meats back in. Stir until spinach wilts and everything is well coated.

6. Serve hot, topped with extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, use hot Italian sausage or double the red pepper flakes.

Use fresh refrigerated tortellini for the best texture and flavor absorption.

Reheat leftovers in a skillet with a splash of cream or broth to revive the sauce.
