Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

  • Author: Jam Scott

Description

Golden, fluffy dinner rolls are stuffed with savory ground beef and gooey cheddar cheese, then brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan. These Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are quick, fun, and irresistibly flavorful—perfect for parties, family dinners, or make-ahead lunches.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup cheddar cheese, cut into ¾-inch cubes

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit or dinner roll dough (8 pieces)

3 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional: 2 tablespoons finely diced onion

Optional: 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, and optionally add onion or Worcestershire sauce for more flavor. Let the mixture cool slightly.

2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round using fingers or a rolling pin.

4. Place 1 tablespoon of cooked beef and 1 cheese cube in the center of each dough round.

5. Fold the dough up and around the filling, pinching the edges tightly to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush the tops of the dough balls generously.

7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each one.

8. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

9. Let rest 5 minutes before serving warm and melty.

Notes

To help the dough seal better, avoid over-flouring your work surface and pinch edges tightly—wet your fingers slightly if needed.

For crispier bottoms, place the bombs on a preheated baking sheet.

Want more flavor? Mix a pinch of smoked paprika or garlic powder into the beef while cooking.
