Description

Fire up your grill or broiler—these Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Skewers are the perfect combination of crispy, cheesy, and garlicky goodness. Juicy shrimp are soaked in a buttery marinade, coated in parmesan and panko, then quickly grilled or broiled to golden perfection. This easy recipe makes for an ideal appetizer, party food, or even a light dinner option with salad or pasta. Great for quick dinners, summer cookouts, and anyone craving bold flavor without the fuss. It’s one of the best seafood dinner ideas when you’re short on time but want something impressive.

Ingredients

0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon black pepper

0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

0.33 cup grated parmesan cheese

0.33 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

zest of 1 lemon

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on

skewers (wooden soaked for 30 min or metal)

melted butter or garlic aioli

lemon wedges

Instructions

1. Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Add shrimp and let marinate for 15–20 minutes.

3. In another bowl, mix parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, parsley, and lemon zest.

4. Thread 4–5 marinated shrimp onto each skewer. Press each side of shrimp into breadcrumb-parmesan mixture to coat thoroughly.

5. To grill: preheat grill to medium-high and lightly oil grates. Grill skewers for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and golden.

6. To broil: place on a foil-lined baking sheet and broil 2–4 minutes per side, watching closely.

7. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Pat shrimp completely dry before marinating to help the coating stick better.

Don’t overcrowd the grill or broiler—space skewers for even cooking.

For air fryer method, cook at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
