Description
This creamy pasta dinner is the ultimate comfort food—juicy garlic butter chicken bites and velvety parmesan linguine, all made in one skillet. Rich, savory, and ready in under 40 minutes.
Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast or thighs, boneless and skinless, cut into chunks
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
8 ounces linguine
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Toss chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add parmesan and stir until melted and smooth.
5. In a separate pot, cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
7. Stir in the seared chicken. Let everything warm together for 2–3 minutes.
8. Serve garnished with parsley and extra parmesan.
Notes
Always use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.
For a richer sauce, use a splash of reserved pasta water after adding the linguine.
Chicken thighs add extra juiciness, but breasts work just as well for leaner bites.
