Description

This Gooey Baked Brie with Fig Jam is an effortless yet elegant appetizer that melts into creamy perfection. Topped with sweet fig jam, crunchy toasted pecans, and a drizzle of honey, it’s the ideal bite for holiday parties, wine nights, or cozy get-togethers.

Ingredients

1 wheel brie cheese (about 8 oz)

3 to 4 tablespoons fig jam

⅓ cup toasted pecans

1 to 2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)

crackers or bread, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Unwrap the brie and place it on a parchment-lined baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

2. Spoon fig jam on top of the brie and spread gently toward the edges.

3. Sprinkle toasted pecans evenly over the jam and press lightly so they stick.

4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the center is soft and melty. Do not overbake.

5. Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and garnish with thyme if using.

6. Serve immediately with crackers, crostini, or sliced apples.

Notes

Let the brie rest at room temperature for 15–20 minutes before baking to ensure even melting.

Use a high-quality fig jam with minimal ingredients for best flavor.

Toast the pecans ahead to enhance their crunch and nuttiness.
