Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups cooked white rice
3 tablespoons hot honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Cook the rice according to package directions. Fluff and set aside.
2. Whip the ricotta using a food processor or whisk until smooth. Add a pinch of salt or lemon zest if desired.
3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
4. Add garlic, soy sauce, and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
5. In a serving bowl, layer rice on the bottom, spread whipped ricotta, and top with beef mixture.
6. Drizzle with hot honey, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the beef.
Ricotta can be swapped with whipped feta or hummus for a different twist.
