Ingredients

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1 cup warm water

1 tbsp sugar

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a mixing bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add olive oil, salt, and flour gradually. Mix and knead until soft and elastic (8–10 mins).

  5. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover and rise again for 15–20 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Mix melted butter and garlic powder. Brush over hearts.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and Parmesan.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
