Description

This Honey Lemon Chicken is a zesty, sticky, and flavorful dish made with juicy chicken thighs glazed in a sweet-and-sour honey lemon sauce. It’s quick to make, uses simple ingredients, and turns out restaurant-quality results perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 cup water

1 lemon, thinly sliced

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken thighs dry and coat lightly with cornstarch.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. Lower heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and water. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and add lemon slices. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is coated.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
