Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon cornstarch
For the Honey Lemon Pepper Glaze:
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Zest of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top.
- Pat wings dry with paper towels. Place in a bowl, add olive oil, and toss to coat.
- Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and cornstarch. Mix well.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake an additional 20–25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine honey, butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once melted and simmering, add lemon pepper seasoning and cracked black pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Place baked wings in a large bowl and pour glaze over them. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
