Description
Sticky, sweet, spicy, and perfectly balanced—this Hot Honey Infused Feta Chicken brings bold flavor with minimal effort. Juicy chicken breasts seared until golden, glazed with spicy honey, and finished with crumbled feta and fresh thyme make this a go-to weeknight or dinner-party favorite.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 tablespoons hot honey
1⁄2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
2. Rub them with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. Preheat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat with a bit of olive oil.
4. Sear chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
5. Lower the heat and drizzle hot honey over the chicken.
6. Baste with a spoon and let the honey bubble for 1–2 minutes.
7. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C).
8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
9. Remove from oven, top with crumbled feta and thyme.
10. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Let the chicken rest before serving so the juices redistribute and the feta softens into the glaze.
Use an oven-safe skillet to simplify the transition from stove to oven.
Adjust the heat by using more or less red pepper flakes in your hot honey.
