Description

A naturally refreshing beverage that combines the tropical sweetness of pineapple, the coolness of mint, and the gentle antioxidant-rich notes of green tea. Perfect for warm days or any time you need a hydrating, flavorful boost.


Ingredients

3 cups water

2 green tea bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf green tea)

1 cup pineapple juice

2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

12 tbsp honey or agave syrup (optional)

½ cup fresh mint leaves (plus more for garnish)

Ice cubes

Pineapple chunks (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Bring the water to just below boiling and steep the green tea for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags or strain leaves; allow tea to cool to room temperature.
  3. Stir in pineapple juice and lemon juice.
  4. Add sweetener to taste while tea is still warm, if desired.
  5. Lightly crush mint leaves and add to the tea. Let it infuse for 5–10 minutes.
  6. Fill glasses with ice and pour the tea over.
  7. Garnish with pineapple chunks and mint sprigs. Serve immediately.
