Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 large eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Optional: sliced pickles, chopped parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant and softened.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted and creamy. Remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Transfer beef mixture into the prepared baking dish. Pour egg mixture evenly on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the entire surface.
- Add crumbled bacon on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
