Ingredients
1 lb spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and toss with butter.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Drain fat and add marinara sauce. Simmer briefly.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
- Layer half of the spaghetti in the baking dish.
- Spread cheese mixture over spaghetti.
- Add the remaining spaghetti over the cheese layer.
- Top with the meat sauce.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
