Description

Pan Fried Salmon with Garlic Butter Sauce is a quick and elegant dish featuring crispy seared salmon fillets drizzled with a rich, lemony garlic butter sauce. It’s fresh, flavorful, and ideal for weeknight dinners or a special evening meal.


Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh chopped parsley or dill, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down. Sear for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until just cooked through.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Push salmon aside and add butter and garlic.
  6. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in lemon juice.
  7. Spoon garlic butter sauce over salmon to coat.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with lemon slices and herbs.
