Pan Fried Salmon with Garlic Butter Sauce is a quick and elegant dish featuring crispy seared salmon fillets drizzled with a rich, lemony garlic butter sauce. It’s fresh, flavorful, and ideal for weeknight dinners or a special evening meal.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Lemon slices, for garnish
Fresh chopped parsley or dill, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat salmon dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down. Sear for 4-5 minutes.
- Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until just cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Push salmon aside and add butter and garlic.
- Sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in lemon juice.
- Spoon garlic butter sauce over salmon to coat.
- Remove from heat and garnish with lemon slices and herbs.
