Description

Bite-sized and packed with rich, nutty sweetness, these no-bake Pecan Pie Balls are a quick and irresistible treat. Whether coated in chocolate or powdered sugar, they bring all the cozy charm of a traditional pecan pie in snackable form.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans (toasted)

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 cup powdered sugar (plus more for coating, if desired)

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup maple syrup or bourbon

1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup melting chocolate (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Toast the Pecans: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 7-8 minutes. Cool and finely chop.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup or bourbon until mixture becomes sticky and dough-like.
  4. Form Balls: Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball. Chill the dough first if it’s too soft.
  5. Coat: Dip in melted chocolate or roll in powdered sugar, if desired.
  6. Set: Refrigerate balls for at least 30 minutes before serving.
