Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans (toasted)
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar (plus more for coating, if desired)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup or bourbon
1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup melting chocolate (optional, for coating)
Instructions
- Toast the Pecans: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 7-8 minutes. Cool and finely chop.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup or bourbon until mixture becomes sticky and dough-like.
