Penne with Creamy Velveeta Four-Cheese and Cajun Beef Bites

  • Author: Jam Scott
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring penne coated in a creamy Velveeta Four-Cheese sauce, paired with tender Cajun-seasoned beef bites for a spicy, savory kick.

Ingredients

454g penne pasta

400g Velveeta Four-Cheese

240ml heavy cream

56g butter

15g Cajun seasoning

450g sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed

30ml olive oil

5g salt

3g black pepper

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Toss steak cubes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear beef in batches until browned and cooked to preferred doneness. Remove and keep warm.

3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Velveeta Four-Cheese until fully melted and smooth.

4. Add cooked penne to the cheese sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

5. Serve pasta alongside Cajun beef bites. Garnish with extra Cajun seasoning or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Use freshly cooked pasta so the sauce clings beautifully.

Sear beef in batches; overcrowding the pan steams the meat.

When reheating, add a splash of cream to restore silky texture.
