Description
A warm, creamy, and slightly spicy dip perfect for holidays, parties, or game day. This Pepper Jelly Cheese Dip blends tangy cheeses with a sweet-peppery jelly topping and is served hot with crackers or veggies.
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1⁄2 cup pepper jelly
2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives
Optional: 1⁄2 cup Monterey Jack or goat cheese
For serving: crackers, bread slices, or raw veggies
Instructions
1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes until softened.
2. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and optional Monterey Jack or goat cheese until smooth.
3. Spread mixture evenly in a small oven-safe dish.
4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
5. Let sit for 2–3 minutes, then spoon pepper jelly over the hot cheese layer.
6. Garnish with chopped green onions or chives.
7. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
Notes
Let cream cheese fully soften before mixing for the creamiest texture.
Use a shallow baking dish to promote even heating and browning.
You can prep the cheese base a day in advance and bake just before serving.
