Ingredients
2 slices thick-cut sourdough or Texas toast
1/2 cup cooked pulled pork (seasoned, optional BBQ sauce added)
2 slices sharp cheddar cheese (or more, to taste)
1 tablespoon butter (softened)
Instructions
- Warm the pulled pork in a skillet or microwave. Mix with BBQ sauce if desired.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, butter-side down, on a skillet. Layer with one slice of cheese, pulled pork, then another slice of cheese.
- Top with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Grill over medium heat until bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and bread is crisp, about 3-4 more minutes.
- Let rest 1 minute before slicing and serving.
