Description

These Rice Krispie Chocolate Chip Cookies are the ultimate fusion of soft, chewy cookie comfort and crispy cereal crunch. Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1½ cups Rice Krispies cereal


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and Rice Krispies cereal gently.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
