Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz ramen noodles (or noodles of choice)

1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger

1/2 cup diced carrots

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)


Instructions

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat if needed.

3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the beef and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.

5. Add diced carrots and cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.

6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated and heated through.

7. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Rinse noodles after boiling to prevent clumping and overcooking.
